Pest Service Terms in Oregon

What Our Pest Services Cover
Last updated: October 2026
Oregon Pest Pros performs pest-control work described in the written estimate, service record, or other agreement approved by you. Depending on that agreement, work may include inspection, treatment, monitoring, and practical recommendations for the identified pest issue.
The agreement will describe the service location, included tasks, and any preparation or access needed. Work outside that description, including repairs, cleanup, exclusion construction, or treatment for a different pest, requires a separate written agreement.
We use pesticides according to their labels and applicable law, including the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, Oregon Pesticide Control Act (ORS Chapter 634), and applicable Oregon Administrative Rules, Chapter 603, Division 57. Applicators must meet applicable Oregon licensing requirements, including OAR 603-057; structural pest inspection work is subject to applicable certification requirements.
We follow label directions for pesticide handling and container disposal. Where relevant, safety practices also account for OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, and guidance or requirements of the EPA, Oregon Department of Agriculture, Oregon OSHA, Oregon Health Authority, and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.
Setting, Changing, or Canceling a Visit
Appointments are arranged with you by phone, email, or another agreed method. We will confirm the planned date or arrival window and any access, preparation, or safety instructions that apply to the scheduled work. Please make sure an adult can provide access when needed and tell us about relevant changes at the property, such as new pest activity, locked areas, or occupants who may need special precautions.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible using the contact details below. Any cancellation charge or other consequence must be disclosed in the applicable estimate or agreement; these terms do not create an unstated fee.
If we cannot safely access the service area, or conditions differ from those described when the visit was booked, we may need to pause, reschedule, or revise the work. We will explain a proposed change and obtain your approval before performing work outside the agreed scope. A new appointment is subject to availability.
Estimates, Approved Work, and Payment
Before work begins, Oregon Pest Pros will provide an estimate or other written description of the proposed service and its charge. An estimate is based on the information available at the time; concealed conditions, changed pest activity, or a request for additional work may require a revised estimate.
We will explain any proposed change and obtain your approval before proceeding beyond the agreed scope. You may decline the added work, though that may limit what can be completed during the visit.
Payment timing and accepted payment methods will be stated in your estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Please pay the agreed amount by the stated due date.
No price or financing offer is created by these general terms. If you have a question about a charge, contact us promptly and identify the service date and invoice, if available.
A billing question does not authorize additional work or change the written scope. Any taxes or disclosed charges will be shown in the applicable estimate or invoice.
What to Expect About Service Guarantees
Oregon Pest Pros does not promise a particular pest outcome or provide a workmanship warranty unless the applicable written estimate or service agreement expressly says so. If a written agreement includes a warranty, that document controls its duration, covered work, required follow-up, and any remedy. Please review those terms before accepting service and contact us if anything is unclear.
Coverage, if offered, may depend on following preparation and safety instructions, maintaining access to treated areas, and avoiding changes that interfere with the service. The written warranty will explain any exclusions or conditions; we will not add unwritten terms through this section.
A warranty does not replace pesticide label directions or applicable legal requirements. If you believe an agreed service was not performed as described, notify us with the service date and details so we can review the record and discuss the next step. Without an express written warranty, these terms create no stated coverage period.

Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent permitted by law, Oregon Pest Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where applicable law prohibits limiting responsibility, including for rights or claims that cannot legally be waived. We are not responsible for pest conditions, property damage, or other problems that existed before the service, were outside the agreed scope, or result from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excuses compliance with pesticide labels or applicable law. Pesticide work must follow the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act and Oregon Pesticide Control Act, ORS Chapter 634, along with applicable Oregon rules in Chapter 603, Division 57, including licensing requirements under OAR 603-057.
Applicable structural pest inspector certification requirements remain in force. Handling and disposal must follow label directions.
Where applicable, workplace hazard communication is governed by OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200. These terms do not reduce any protection provided by law.
